BlocBoy JB on His Breakout Year, Drake Collab & Viral Dances | Everyday Struggle



On the Wednesday August 8th episode of #EverydayStruggle, BlocBoy JB stops by to talk to DJ Akademiks, Nadeska and Wayno about his big year. The Memphis rapper was a 2018 XXL Freshman, had a mega hit with Drake on ‘Look Alive,’ dropped his 7th mixtape ‘Simi’ and already has plans to release another project this month. Now he needs to figure out how to get paid off his viral dances, including the ‘Shoot Dance,’ which has been incorporated into video games. He’s also currently performing on Jay Z and Beyonce’s ‘On the Run II Tour.’ Check out the entire interview above.

  1. Please tell blocboy to copyright the “shoot” dance, that way he makes $ everytime someone does it with his permission. U can copyright almost anything, whenever someone does the “lets get ready to rumble” at a boxing match, the guy who did it first gets paid because he copyrighted it

  2. Guys, yall should go back to Actually having topics to talk about with your guests. It makes for not only having moments where a celebrity looks more like a regular person, but it takes some of the main focus off them and probably makes guests feel better about being on your show. Pretty much to go with what Tinuola Victoria was saying, for real.
