Bunnell, Fl – Body camera shows the moment Flagler County deputies say a man pulled a gun on them during a traffic stop.
The incident happened during a traffic stop in Bunnell.
Officials with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office said a narcotics K-9 smelled a substance inside Alphonso Brook’s vehicle.
When deputies asked Brook’s to step out of the car they said he pulled a gun. Deputies said he appeared to be trying to conceal the gun from law enforcement.
Deputies said he had his fingers around the grip and they believe he may have been trying to commit suicide by cop.
The weapon was recovered and Brooks arrested on several charges, including aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, deputies said.
