Body cam footage captures a thug throw a 10kg dumbbell and a large kitchen knife at police officers.
Christopher Rogers, 31, erupted into the violent rage after he had allegedly been abusive to his ex-partner at her flat.
Officers were called to the property after Rogers was said to have spat at his ex and refused to leave, Kent Live reports.
The disturbing bodycam clip shows Rogers brandish two blades at the cops in Ramsgate, Kent, and then hid in his bedroom.
But he returns with the dumbbell and strikes Police Constable Mark Bramwell.
He also throws a knife, which narrowly misses the officer.
Riot police were called to the flat and helped detain Rogers.
He was jailed for five years on Monday after admitting charges of possessing a knife, attempted wounding with intent and assaulting a police officer.
