Carmelo Anthony Breaks Down Why OKC ‘Wasn’t a Good Fit’

Carmelo Anthony had easily the worst season of his career in 2017-18, which will go down as his lone campaign in Oklahoma City. Melo struggled to adapt to a lesser role, and it was clear he never found a rhythm.

He recently broke down the situation from his perspective in an interview with ESPN’s Jemele Hill. Melo told Hill why the situation was doomed from the start.

  1. MAYBE IF YOU CAME OFF THE BENCH YOU WOULD'VE HAD TIME TO LEARN THE OFFENSE AND SLOWLY WORK YOUR WAY IN

INSTEAD HE DEMANDED TO START AND GOT THROWN INTO THE FIRE, NOW HE WANTS TO MAKE EXCUSES

THIS GUY IS TURNING INTO A JOKE OF A BALL PLAYER

  2. It's annoying when complex has people read and deliver other people's reports. Natasha clearly doesn't watch any sports why is she out here talking about it

  3. This is just a thought but I think melo stayed on the Knicks all summer as a favor so ticket prices can stay high and then went to OKC last min. That was his fault that they didn't have him in the plans all summer. Also thats just an excuse because other players have been traded abruptly and didn't have a whole season to get it together and did. So miss me with the excuses nigga. Just say you did bad and will do better next year. If Houston starts him they will go home in the first round.

  4. News flash Melo!!! D’antoni couldn’t stand your ass and really had to bite his tongue knowing you are back under his tutelage.. You also got him fired from the knicks lets not forget that.. Melo needs to understand he is a cancer to any team he goes to!!

  5. No team is a good fit for a ball hog that can't find the open man when doubled or tripled teamed. I was mad when the Knicks got him and lost faith when they resigned him.

  6. Fools sleeping on Melo..he's still a beast. Especially if on the right team. He should fit in great with Houston. Cp3 at point, Harden at the 2 spot, & Melo at the small forward
