6. Lincoln did care about slaves. Its all about money. And he didnt free slaves. He made slavery illegal because he wanted to industrialize the south.A group of people figured out they can make more money with machinery. They probably told Lincoln to make slavery illegal so they can make way more money, because you have to maintain, lube, make new parts for a machines. The south didnt want machines they wanted free human labor. After the civil war slavery still continued.

8. Slaves were only freed in Lincoln’s desperation. Lincoln was hoping free blacks would join the union (which many did). Also in an attempt to hurt the confederacy’s war making capabilities. He hoped that blacks in the south would start an armed insurgency behind confederate lines. There were rebellions, most minimally to not very effective at all.

   And my opinion is that Blacks (and even Latinos) shouldn’t be in the military. Let whites fight their own immoral wars.
