President Donald Trump suggested he’d love an “extension for the presidency” and that the media would love it because he keeps the ratings up at a Tuesday night Indiana rally. Of course, Trump also seemed to conveniently forget that a limit to the presidency is a cornerstone of this country’s democracy. It’s literally written in the constitution.
“Unless they give me an extension for the presidency, which I don’t think the fake news media would be too happy about,” Trump said. “Wait, wait, wait, actually, they would be happy. Because when I’m not here, their ratings are going to sink.”
