Ever since Drake responded to Pusha-T’s DAYTONA track “Infrared” with “Duppy Freestyle,” it’s been a little hectic for Aubrey, to say the least. Kanye West chimed in on Drake’s comments on his most recent solo album ye, while JAY-Z also took a moment to diss Drizzy on his newly released collaborative album with Beyoncé, Everything Is Love. It’s safe to say he’s something of a target right now, and it seems as if Drake’s mom Sandi Graham has had enough of it.
Speaking with TMZ, she said that the 6 God and all involved are “too grown up” for rap beef. When asked if she thinks Drake made the right choice by not responding to Pusha-T’s scathing “Duppy Freestyle” response “The Story of Adidon,” she didn’t seem to think him moving on was a bad idea. “I believe he always makes the best decisions in the end,” she explains.

So everything is fair when Drake seems to be besting a rap beef. But once that wave changes now Drake is being the better person by not feeding into the beef. That's not the way that this works and Drake nor anyone else on his support team get to suddenly change or remix the rules of a rap beef just because Drake clearly got smoked by Pusha T on record. I would say Pusha displayed good class by just letting it go. Let Drake come back with Scorpion next week and stick to what he seems to do really well = make hit songs that his superfans will always praise, and drop subliminal lines.
