Facebook Keeps Every Video You Record on the Platform—Even Ones You Delete

Though we’ve all technically agreed to it, many users had no idea that Facebook has been keeping a frightening amount of your personal data. Even videos you’ve deleted from the platform are still stored.

  1. WTF ?? You're telling me there's still a bunch of dumb ass out there who still doesn't know ?? Your local house phone company is keeping a record of all your calls.. Your mobile company is also keeping records of all your calls and messages.. All social media websites are keeping whatever you post.. Those messaging apps like whatsapp, telegram, wechat and more are all keeping records.. Why ?? Call it government policy.. So they can trace back whatever they want when they want.. So unless you decide to live off the grid for the rest of your life, GET USED TO IT and STOP BITCHING ABOUT IT..

  2. All sm platforms do this and have been caught doing it in varying degrees. Facebook have been particularly subversive in that they habitually cross lines that they promised they wouldn’t (like when Facebook bought WhatsApp and used it to link phone numbers to people’s FB accounts, even though they promised they wouldn’t).
