Fat Joe Says Lil Uzi Vert Is a ‘Bad Version of Lil Wayne’

As much as it pains me to write this, here goes: Fat Joe considers Lil Uzi Vert a “bad version of Lil Wayne.”

In a new Beats 1 interview with Ebro Darden, Joe shared his take on Weezy’s influence on younger generations. “Those is all Lil Wayne’s flows,” Joe said. “Every last one.”

When Ebro brought up the Uzi hymn “XO TOUR Llif3,” Joe went further. “Lil Uzi is a bad version of Lil Wayne,” he said. “It’s not as good as Lil Wayne. I’mma just be honest with you. And he’s good and I like his songs.”

  1. I’m really into music/sounds and uzi and Wayne’s music sound so much different I couldn’t compare them if I wanted to😂 I do agree wayne is definitely a better rapper, but Uzis music isn’t just rap it’s a different kind of music/sound it’s like alternative rap. I like Uzis music more just because it fits me and it’s just what I like. I think they are both 🐐s

  2. Lil uzi has taken a great amount of influence from Wayne, but lil Uzi is a bit more open about himself in his songs. Wayne rapped about lean in the most positive manner, while Uzi admits he has an addiction and is trying to change.

Wayne’s got a better flow, and is more versatile. Wayne is therefore a better rapper, however Uzi has carter beat when it comes to delivering a message people can relate to.

  3. Lil uzi vert, doesn’t have to the new lil Wayne, but himself, now if you ask me between uzi and Wayne, I’ll say that’s a long line to go. Wayne is very good rapper, and very none around the world, no no Wayne is a fantastic rapper. And not all are that
