  1. honestly think Giveon is going to make music actually good and meaningful … most mainstream music now focuses way too much on typical lyricis, way less on musicality and a lot more on beats and trends.

    giveon has shown hes a story teller, a singer and conveys a hell of a lot of emotion and empathy in his music. all while adding instrumentation and simple rhythms to his music. I hope others follow his wave because itll lead to really good music producing. there are a select other artist in the rnb genre doing great music like H.E.r. SZA Daniel caeser Frank Ocean types. but the last time i actually felt the music industry was good was around the time Lauryn Hills album dropped miseducation. around that time people were making decent rnb but it was diluting out after tht

    but yeah hope things shift with Giveon i think he holds a lot of potential to shift the paradigm in the music industry and im rooting for him
