Here Are the First Week Numbers for Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s ‘Everything Is Love

Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s surprise joint album Everything Is Love is No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, behind Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer’s Youngblood. Everything Is Love moved a total of 123,000 units compared to 142,000 units for Youngblood.

Each of Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s previous solo albums—Lemonade and 4:44—debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Everything Is Love was expected to put up lower numbers in its first week, however, because it was released exclusively via TIDAL on Saturday before later showing up on the subscription tiers of competing streaming services. The album’s comparatively low first week numbers can in part be attributed to a shortened week of availability and streaming service exclusivity.

  1. L for both of them. Beyoncé is an overrated, fading star with an annoying fanbase. Jay is pretty much the most overrated rapper ever, not even in the top 10, just a good businessman and that's it.

  2. In this album, Jay-Z is as excellent as he was in The Black Album. Beyonce had bars better than any mumble rapper not named Future, Desiigner and Lil Uzi Vert. It should be #1 regardless of availability or exclusivity but times are changing.

  3. All I keep seeing is drake fans and more life gave me less life all them songs and 4 has replay value and was a forgettable album. The joint album was a solid project and definitely will pick up even more traction as the tour incorporates the new songs and visuals are released

  4. Nope I don't give a f*** about that numbers know what that numbers are it spells out Lucifer you understand Jay-Z is still crying in the mirror about Nas saying dick sucking lips on the disowned eat there which was years ago so they come out with the album on the same day as Nas there a bunch of f**** haters him and Beyonce with her satanic ass!!!

  5. Jay Z and Beyonce are just not good enough any more to compete with the new music that's playing right now, plus albums sales are overrated anyone these days can sell a song or album.

  6. For all those people acting like Beyoncé and Jay flopped, that is far from the case. Tidal just didn't report their numbers to Billboard, just like they chose not to with Jay's 4:44

  7. the haters flocked to this video w the quickness. this is honestly their fault for not promoting it and having it debut exclusively on tidal on a saturday w only 4 days of sales
