J. Cole is back with new music and a video.
The track is titled “Album Of The Year (Freestyle)” and features Cole rapping over the beat for Nas and Bravehearts’ “Oochie Wally.”
But that’s not all. Cole also teased the project The Off Season in the caption for “Album Of The Year (Freestyle),” though not much in the way of details are currently available. “The Off Season coming soon… All roads lead to The Fall Off,” Cole wrote. “1985 (Intro to ‘The Fall Off’)” is the last track on Cole’s KOD album.

J Cole is my favorite rapper and KOD was a step in the right direction (finally) but it wasn’t THAT good tbh. I don’t find myself coming back to it🤷🏽♂️.

I don’t know about album of the year. If he feels that way, cool, but I’m not seeing it. The Black Panther soundtrack was the best album I’ve heard so far this year. Don’t get me wrong, J Cole isn’t bad at all, he just doesn’t have that “it” factor like Kendrick or even Drake..
