Jordan Peele is a busy man. He created and produced Tracy Morgan’s TBS series The Last O.G. and is slated to film the crime thriller Black Klansman. He’s even thinking about creating a sequel to his Academy Award–winning film Get Out. But that’s not all. Now, Amazon’s picking up his four-part docuseries on Lorena Bobbitt and the infamous case where she cut off her husband’s penis after he reportedly sexually and physically abused her.
The series, Lorena, is promised to provide “a fresh perspective on the story of Lorena Bobbitt and how one event laid the groundwork for the modern 24-hour news cycle and increasing sensationalistic media coverage,” reads Amazon’s press statement, according to TheWrap.
