The 2019 Met Gala is finally here and putting aside the fashion, it’s THE carpet for new couples to go OFFICIAL and lovers to SLAY with their COUPLES’ style.
What’s up guys, its Sussan Mourad here for Clevver News and we are SO here for the 2019 Met Gala red carpet, which is THE UNofficial, OFFICIAL carpet for new couples to come out and declare their love to the world – in high fashion ofcourse, and where our favourite celeb couples come to SLAY and show us how it’s done!
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth worked the carpet, with Miley looking BOMB and Liam dotting on his wifey as he swooned over her as she posed up a storm, in an epic black and green dress. And let’s be honest, probably one of her least camp looks to date. They looked so adorbs, and you know, what better way to show your love for your boo than licking his face – as captured in this clip shared by ET
Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse came to SLAY and looked like the hottest recreation of Marie Antoinette and her partner in crime! These Riverdale sweethearts CRUSHED the carpet, as did their fellow castmates, Cammi Mendes and Charles Melton who came and represented Riverdale.
Kim and Kanye West rocked the pink carpet and let’s be honest, we couldn’t take our eyes off her tiny waist and Big Butt.
Kim looked amazing in a beaded latex dress and like she just came out from a swim in the ocean, with flawless glam as always. Although her outfit wasn’t as over the top as we were expecting, her body was a major moment in itself! Kanye West on the other hand was disappointedly underdressed…
Keeping it in the family, while keeping up with the Kardashians, everyone’s favourite Mom and Dad, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott walked their second Met Gala carpet together, looking like absolute pro’s. Kylie giving us purple Jessica Rabbit vibes with incredible fluffy pom-poms and Travis dressed ready for combat!
One of the couples we all were hanging out to see was newlyweds Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner who oozed cool in matching outfits, looking like a king and queen – minus their ring pops I should add.
And ofcourse, we have to mention Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra who gave us all a lesson on how to slay the pink carpet as a couple. Posing and serving looks like it’s nobody’s business.
Not only were we all here for this super couple, but something Priyanka posted earlier that afternoon had us wondering, is there a baby Jonas in the oven by any chance? Priyanka posted this super cute pic of her and Nick at the Met in 2017 to her stories, with the QUOTE: “The story I’ll definitely tell our future kids… How I met your father ”
And finally, the couple that invented couple slaying, JLO and ARod rocked the pink carpet, with JLO looking like a sparkling goddess and this guy looking on who basically was all of us
