Man Found Dead at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Tennessee

A Bonnaroo patron was found dead Friday morning on the festival’s campground in Manchester, Tennessee.

According to USA Today, the individual was identified as Michael Donivan Craddock of Mount Juliet, Tennessee. A spokesperson for the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office said law enforcement responded to a medical call at the venue at around 10:30 a.m. Shortly after they arrived, authorities discovered Craddock unresponsive inside his vehicle.

Officials told the publication that foul play is not suspected, and that the body has been sent to Nashville for an autopsy so that the exact cause of death can be determined.

  1. A guy died in 2010 when I went, and it's a really sad story. Bonnaroo seems to do a lot to let people know they need to be safe and it's not something you can totally stop. When you get people together for a 3 day party in 100 plus degree heat its sometimes a struggle. I think they need to put out a warning with their tickets that first time Roo attendees need to be aware of the heat and humidity. I was taken by surprise the first day at just how intense the heat was, and I'm from WV so not terribly far away.
