In this clip, Michael Colyar talks about his upbringing on the Southside of Chicago, and how it’s much different than the Windy City today. He discussed his start in comedy in Chicago then moving his act to the West Coast, first in the Bay Area then eventually in Los Angeles on Venice Beach. Michael Colyar spoke about how he made money as a street performer saying he raked in six figures during that time but admitted that his drug addiction kept him from truly capitalizing on his talents.
