MSNBC Chief Legal Correspondent Ari Melber used a quote from Mobb Deepha’s famed 1995 cut “Shook Ones Part II” to insult President Donald Trump on Friday night during his show, The Beat With Melber. Melber was discussing the president’s abuse of executive privilege within the frame of Nixon’s impeachment.
“[Nixon’s impeachment case is] worth bearing in mind as the Trump White House now stonewalls investigators, but insist it’s not really invoking executive privilege, or it’s trying some kind of modified halfway executive privilege,” Melber said.

I remember watching the Phil Donahue show back in 1979 just after The Sugarhill Gang came out with ‘Rappers’ Delight’ (the first Hip-Hop record). Some idiot in the audience said that this form of music is a passing phase and will not remain. 40+ years later and you have news reporters including bars in their reports…that fool was a shook one…R.I.P. Prodigy
How do you have a job as a reporter when you're quoting rappers. I'm sure Hitler said some super catchy things. But his overall message was pretty bad.
all the mainstream media make old white guys use slang and quote rap songs to try filling the disconnect and distrust with their audiance lmao! im sure these guys were driving around in the mid 90s bumpin mobb deep and biggie lolol seems legit!!
Im waitin for him in tha next segment to say: and in other news donald trump tweeted support for manafort by saying "sit back relax, catching contacts, sip ya cognac and let's all wash this money through this laundry mat"….back to you tom

He's always quoting hip hop lyrics. Sometimes artists drop in. He's unique. On msnbc at 6pm weekdays.
OMG how edgy, in retrospect Mobb Deep sucked ass, its not even cool anymore to be into that "look I'm a thug, hey look I'm in jail" vibe, most black people have evolved out of that garbage
