Netflix Announces Five New Projects Based on Mark Millar Comics



Comic book writer Mark Millar—known for his work on Ultimate X-Men, The Ultimates, Kick-Ass, Ultimate Fantastic Four, and more—has agreed to a deal with Netflix that will bring two shows and three movies to the platform.

The announcement comes a year after Neflix acquired Millar’s comic book publishing company Millarworld in August 2017. Since then, the streaming platform has been developing two series based on his work called Jupiter’s Legacy and American Jesus as well as three movies: Empress, Huck, and Sharkey The Bounty Hunter.
