Nicki Minaj Goes Off on Critics Who Claim Her Lyrics Are ‘Hypocritical’

Nicki Minaj went off on a critic who accused her of having hypocritical views on female sexuality.

In her recent cover story for Elle magazine, the Queen rapper addressed one of her biggest concerns as an artist who sells sex appeal:

“I don’t really know how to say that without being offensive,” she told writer Devin Gordon. “Maybe I was naïve, but I didn’t realize how many girls were modern-day prostitutes. Whether you’re a stripper, or whether you’re an Instagram girl—these girls are so beautiful and they have so much to offer. But I started finding out that you give them a couple thousand dollars, and you can have sex with them […] It makes me sad as a woman. And it makes me sad that maybe I’ve contributed to that in some way.”

  1. It's not even about her not poppin y'all kill me with this cardi b SHIT like let them both be great okay Social media plays apart of this beefing SHIT leave it alone we just lost a rapper somebody son RIP Xxx

  2. Oh God Nicki Garbage is back in my headlines, she is just angry that Cardi B is overshadowing her in her rap career, Not to mention you're being passed around like a bucket of chicken to every rapper in the game 😂 Face it Nicki your career is dying and she'll do anything for attention, But oh wait I forgot She's "The Queen of Rap" 😂☠️

  3. If u can’t shame sluts then who can be shamed, shame exist for a reason if we all had no shame this world wouldn’t be as comfortable to live in. And if we shouldn’t shame sluts then why shame pedophiles who while as shameful and disgusting as they are, they mostly appear to have been born that way.

  4. So we just not gonna address the “slutshaming” like she was accused of that shit?? How can u be accused of something like that lmfao?? They are fucking sluts and deserve shame, worthless whores

  5. I dunno… I think I AGREE with her. She's right,We all know what the IG chicks do when enough cash is involved. Btw, I hate the term "sex worker". Some women are actresses, performers editors. They act SEXUAL on cam. but the do not have Sex for WORK. Just my opinion.

  6. Somehow the same people who think she is garbage, seem to always end up under every video, picture, song, etc; about Nicki.🧐 Sound like a fan to me🤷🏽‍♀️

  7. Okay I'm looking at a time line here they were teasing her about her body a couple of weeks ago something like that and they were saying she wasn't photoshopped and how she's looking more like little Kim now because she's getting bigger and she doesn't look right I don't have anything against Nicki Minaj but I'm wondering is she covering up because her butt job and things like that is turning on her are you now a shame that your body is falling apart and are you covering up because of that if not more power to you but however you advertised your body for a long time but she's free to do what she want but I'm wondering is it because they were disrespecting her body recently and she's using this as an excuse

  8. Why she even waste her time with these random critics; shows she’s insecure. In the words of Kanye West “I shouldn’t even bother
With all these gossiping, no-pussy-getting bloggers”

  9. This is the breaking point of the social contract…selling sex is prostitution selling sex appeal and womens ownership of their body image is empowerment. The line may be thin to some but to me and it seems Nick its thick. Somethings are detrimental and wrong …prostitution is one of them . Women suffer psychogical scars and endure other detriments as prostitutes. I personally accept all people but I dont glorify or condone it. We have to restore some basis of morality because the effects of social media and the fear of calling people out plus the widening of the economic gap has people very young selling their bodies or aspiring too. Music is subjective alot of people hear what is convenient for their lifestyle. Its powerful and refreshing to hear artists intent. By the way grow up twitter…some of us are really in the trenches making hard life decisions while you type about it.
