One NBA Superstar Addresses the Los Angeles Lakers Rumors

Damian Lillard is a hot commodity in NBA circles right now, as rumors have indicated the Los Angeles Lakers—among others—are interested in acquiring the star. One might think, given Portland’s unceremonious exit from the playoffs in the first round, Lillard is ready to move on. But that sure doesn’t seem to be the case.

As Lillard tells it, he’s thrilled to be a Blazer.

“I’m not unhappy,” Lillard said Sunday, according to OregonLive, after watching Portland’s Summer League game in Las Vegas. “I love where I live. I love the organization. I love our coaching staff. I love where I am.”

  1. I can’t imagine what would happen if you put good but struggling western teams in the east, like TBlazers, Lakers, Timberwolves, Pelicans… the list goes on… Now with Lebron in the West te eastern conference is super weak

  2. Damian Lillard got absolutely embarrassed in the playoffs this season he needs to shut the f**** and work on his game as a Laker fan I don't want him can't believe he got dominated by the Pelicans like he did this last year… stay yo ass in Portland! He owes them a better performance for all the money he makes and all the "supposed" All-star teams he has been "overlooked"

  3. It's people like dumbass Steven a that start these stupid rumors…. Dame never said Anything about wanting to leave and the blazers never even thought about trading him…. this is just media looking for another story after they spent the last 3 months talking about Kawhi 24/7 amd PG13 joining LeBron and neither one are going to be on the roster. Steven a is the same guy who said KD might join LBJ in LA….. smh

  4. Everyone knew Lebron is going to the lakers because they had the cap and lebron got houses in LA and superstars don’t want to play with him

    Paul George
    Cousins etc
