Seth Rogen is finally breaking his silence on all of James Franco’s sexual misconduct allegations. In a Vulture interview, Rogen, Franco’s longtime collaborator and friend, said, “The truth is that my perspective on this is the least relevant perspective. I’m friends with these people and I’m a dude.” He added, “All that combined makes me the last person who should be talking about this.”
In January, the Los Angeles Times ran an article in which four actresses and one filmmaker said the actor had been sexually inappropriate with them during a class he taught. Franco denied the allegations, but was all for “people coming out and being able to have a voice.” Franco managed grab Best Actor awards at both the Golden Globes and the Critics Choice Awards for his work in The Disaster Artist. He became the target of backlash soon after the former ceremony as many pointed out the hypocrisy of him wearing a Time’s Up pin.
