Skai Jackson lost someone she considered family when Cameron Boyce suddenly passed away in his sleep, and now she’s doing what she can to keep his legacy alive.
What’s up everyone? It’s Sussan Mourad back here on Clevver News and when Cameron Boyce tragically passed away last month, the world was and continues to be heartbroken.
And his Disney family has been continuing to honor Cameron.
His ‘Jessie’ co-star and friend Skai Jackson has been doing everything she can to remember Cameron and honor him.
As soon as Skai heard the news she took to Instagram and shared a heartfelt post and said quote, “I don’t even know where to start… Cam, you were one of a kind. My heart will be forever broken.”
And now over a month later she is finding more ways to celebrate Cameron’s life and raise money for his charity.
Skai recently shared a video on her YouTube channel titled “For Cameron Boyce” and in the first half of the video she participated in a charity kickball game to raise money for the Cameron Boyce Foundation.
And for the second half of the video, you might want to grab some tissues because she put together a beautiful montage of some of her favorite photos and videos she has of Cameron.
And it brought some real tears to my eyes.
One of my favorite moments is this interview clip of Skai and Cameron from back in 2012, when they were both such babies.
And Skai also captured so many sweet moments of Cameron singing that she decided to share.
And fans are loving Skai’s video tribute.
One person wrote quote, “We need a friend like her. RIP CAMERON😪”
And another said quote, “You are such a strong young girl 😥❤️ he will be missed. Keep his legacy alive”
And she is doing exactly that.
Skai has even clapped back at a troll who criticized her for posting about Cameron too much.
Which come on… that’s just ridiculous that someone would even have the audacity to comment that.
That person said quote, “Just let him Rest In Peace you post him every day like chill.”
And Skai came for that person and said quote, “I’ve known Cameron for half of my life. He was a brother to me/all of us… I can do as I please just like you taking pics with your mouth open… not flattering girl.”
She even went as far as commenting on that person’s picture saying quote, “close your mouth.”
And I’m sure we all agree that nobody should have anything negative to say on Skai’s tributes to Cam. Everyone mourns differently and is allowed to share how they feel as much or as little as they want.
