LeBron James pulls superheroic feats on the regular in real life. But the NBA legend may be playing a hero on the big screen as well, and it could happen sooner than you think.
The Wrap reports director Terence Nance is in talks to helm a James-starring Space Jam 2. Nance is best known for writing and directing the quirky, whimsical 2012 film, An Oversimplification of Her Beauty, which also blends animation and real life.Of course, the 1996 original Space Jam did something similar as Michael Jordan teamed up with the Looney Tunes to defeat an alien team, Monstars. Nance is also slated to premiere his HBO six-episode series, Random Acts of Flyness, on Friday night. It’s been described as a “black wonderland”
