On the July 23, 2018 episode of #EverydayStruggle, DJ Akademiks, Nadeska and Wayno discuss conflicting reports about Tekashi 6ix9ine, who told law enforcement that he was kidnapped and robbed at gunpoint early on Sunday morning, after two men carrying weapons accosted him at a traffic stop in Brooklyn. The rapper later checked himself into a hospital after reportedly suffering from a concussion. All of this happened while the rapper was promoting ‘FEFE’ with Nicki Minaj. The crew also talked about Jay Z’s op-ed in the Philadelphia Inquirer, where he calls out Philly Mayor Jim Kenney for trying to move his Made in America Festival from the city without notice. Plus, Bobby Shmurda confirms that he’ll be released from prison in 2020 along with Rowdy Rebel, Rich the Kid teases collab album with Chris Brown and Safaree’s still defending himself after the showdown in Dyckman.
