Tyler, the Creator Still Wants to Be on the Radio: ‘That Time Will Come’

Tyler, the Creator apparently shares my dream of feeding ducks with Eminem.

In a new cover story interview with GQ Style, Tyler reaffirmed his Em appreciation and outlined his unwavering desire to one day write a song that gets serious play on traditional radio. “I grew up listening to it,” Tyler said. “Although it’s not the most important thing, there’s still a percentage of me that wants to listen to the radio one day and say, ‘Oh, that’s my song!'”

  1. im so sick of my life man. ive gotten better but my shit is still pointless. i work to eat and im not living. no family, no friends, just my skateboard, logic, and a mic. no music up, old stuff is private and new stuff is in the making, this is not a check me out post! this is me in desperation trying to find others in my shoes that also want to escape. if you are different in all aspects(personality, looks, music taste, etc) hmu my insta is extendedlunch. no im not asking you to follow me, im asking those ppl like me to work with me. not to sound conceited but my sound has potential im just so uninspired and im not motivated at all. just about every aspect of my life is a buzzkill and im trying to better it but in my circumstances its not really working out. my desperation is what gives me hope for music, its the only way i have. im more of a melodic artist, i see my voice as a instrument but if i rap it has to be totally out of the box, being regular won't get you anywhere. im hoping this post will at least help me find one other person to work with. thanks for your time

  2. Tyler deserves more recognition. Period. He’s one of the most talented and creative people of our generation, and will definitely go down with the greats.

  3. EMINEM LOW-KEY SHOULD HAVE HAD TYLER ON HIS LAST ALBUM ANYWAY . TYLER COULD HAVE SAVED EMINEM'S LAST ALBUM WITH A GUEST VERSE AND A LIKE FIVE BEATS . 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
