Ving Rhames Says He Was Held at Gunpoint by Police in His Own Home

On Friday’s episode of SiriusXM’s The Clay Cane Show, during a discussion on racism, actor Ving Rhames revealed that he was held at gunpoint in his house by the police. Apparently, the cops were responding to a purported burglary that happened in his Santa Monica home and thought he was the thief.

“This happened this year,” the actor said. “I open the door and there is a red dot pointed at my face from a 9-mm, and they say, ‘Put up your hands.’ Literally.”

  1. All you keyboard tough guys love to Monday morning QB. If cops did police work the way you think they should it would be like the keystone cops. Ya it’s nice hearing ONE side of the story and talk shit..remember there are 3 sides to every story. Commonsense says… You don’t make contact with someone who standing in their house and you are outside the house and you let them walk back through the house to get ID while you stay outside. Guarantee you do that enough you’ll end up with a bullet hole in your head. I know you liberals love to make decisions with your heart and feelings and facts don’t matter… But this is real life and it’s all about the facts and This guy is swaying the story to fit the bad white cop narrative… Wake up people

  2. There should be a charge to people who call and waste the police’s time. Pay a fine or something. People defending this give me a headache. Always wanting to keep the door to bullshit open.

  3. So they're telling me that in MF America, a call can't be traced? Wow. And police can't recognize a famed actor? I'm Black but I can tell Tom Cruise from Mark Whalberg!!

  4. Dave Chappelle literary made a joke about this in 1999 HBO stand up*……*it was about if he gets robbed at his house he would be scared to robbed the police in fear they will shoot him down. Man God Your People Of the Sun Needs Your Help ASAP*…..*They are killing us down even our women and babies get killed.
