Virgil Abloh, Alexandre Arnault & Louis Vuitton’s New Age of Cool

Virgil Abloh, founder of the streetwear brand Off-White, will soon take on a new role as the latest artistic director of men’s wear at Louis Vuitton.

The New York Times reported the news on Monday. The appointment places Abloh in rare company; he joins Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing and former Givenchy designer Ozwald Boateng as one of the only black designers at the top fashion houses.

  1. i'm living in brasil now. here, some ppl don't give a fuc* about original designer clothes. provided it is fashionable rappers influence a lot around the world. with this wave of supreme, yeezy etc young people becoming interested in fashion is incredible.

  2. Uh, for those who know, LV owns houses going back decades. The company doesnt need any help AT ALL. It was doing phenomenal before "hip hop" decided to ghetto it up meaning knock offs. Help? Wow
